This 9-day Peru tour offers an unforgettable experience touring unique historical and natural destinations. We will start in Lima, the “City of Kings”, and then travel to Cusco, the ancient Inca capital, to explore the Sacred Valley and the wonder of the world: Machu Picchu. Afterwards, we will head to Puno to visit archaeological sites and navigate Lake Titicaca, getting to know its floating islands. Along the way, we will enjoy the biodiversity and cultural richness that make Peru an exceptional destination.

Day 01: RECEPTION IN LIMA – CITY TOUR.
Day 02: FLIGHT LIMA – CUSCO CITY TOUR.
Day 03: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS.
Day 04: INCA TRAIL – KM 104 – WIÑAYWAYNA – AGUAS CALIENTES.

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN LIMA – CITY TOUR

Reception at Lima’s international airport and private transfer to the hotel.
After check-in, free time to rest and have lunch.
At 14:00 hrs, start of the city tour of Lima, also known as the “City of Kings”. The tour includes panoramic views of the Huaca Pucllana, followed by a visit to the historic center: Paseo de la Republica, Plaza San Martin and Plaza Mayor. We will also visit the Convent of San Francisco, known for its catacombs and colonial architecture.
After the tour, return to the hotel around 18:00 hrs.
Overnight in Lima.

DAY 02: LIMA – CUSCO – CITY TOUR

Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco (approximate duration: 1 hour).
Reception at the Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, a hot coca beverage will be offered as a welcome drink. Free time for rest and lunch.
At 13:30 hrs, start of the city tour in Cusco, which includes a visit to the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), Plaza de Armas, San Pedro market, colonial streets, and the nearby archaeological sites: Sacsayhuaman and Qenqo.
Return to the hotel at 18:00 hrs.
Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 03: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – OLLANTAYTAMBO

Departure at 07:30 hrs to the Sacred Valley. The first stop is the handicraft market and the archaeological complex of Pisaq.
Buffet lunch in Urubamba.
In the afternoon, visit to the fortress of Ollantaytambo and its archaeological site.
At the end, transfer to the hotel in Ollantaytambo.
Overnight in Ollantaytambo.

DAY 04: SHORT INCA TRAIL – VIÑAYWAYNA – MACHU PICCHU TOWN

Breakfast at the hotel.
At 07:20 hrs, departure by train to Km 104 to start the short Inca Trail trek. After the entrance control, visit to the archaeological sites of Chachabamba and Choquesuysuy.
Beginning of the ascent to Wiñaywayna, passing orchids, waterfalls and views of the Sacred Valley.
Arrival to Wiñaywayna (2,650 m. a.s.l.), where we will have a box lunch.
The hike continues to Inti Punku (Sun Gate), from where you get the first panoramic view of Machu Picchu.
Descent by bus to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Dinner included in a local restaurant.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 05: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

Breakfast at the hotel.
At the indicated time, transfer by bus to Machu Picchu.
Guided tour of approximately 3 hours by the main sectors of the citadel. Free time afterwards. Optional: ascent to Huayna Picchu mountain with additional cost.
Descent to Aguas Calientes and lunch on your own.
In the afternoon, return by train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, private transfer to Cusco.
Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 06: MOUNTAIN OF COLORS

Departure at 05:00 hrs to the community of Cusipata (approx. 2 hours drive).
Breakfast en route. Continuation to the starting point of the trek (Phullawasipata – 4,650 m a.s.l.).
Ascent of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the top of the Colored Mountain (5,100 m. a.s.l.).
Time for photographs and observation of the landscape.
Descent and transfer for lunch.
Optional visit to local houses.
Return to Cusco, estimated arrival at 16:00 hrs.
Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 07: CUSCO – PUNO (SUN ROUTE)

Transfer to the station to board the tourist bus to Puno. The tour includes guided visits to Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, the pass of La Raya (4,335 m. a.s.l.), and the lithic museum of Pukara.
Buffet lunch in Sicuani.
Arrival in Puno and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Puno.

DAY 08: LAKE TITICACA – UROS AND TAQUILE

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to the port of Puno for embarkation by boat to the floating islands of the Uros.
Later, navigation to Taquile Island, known for its textile tradition and living culture.
Typical lunch included.
Return by boat to Puno. Transfer to the hotel or to the city center, according to the passenger’s preference.
Overnight in Puno.

DAY 09: JULIACA – LIMA – RETURN

Breakfast at the hotel.
At the coordinated time, private transfer to Juliaca airport (1 hour trip).
Flight to Lima.
Depending on the time of your international flight, you will be able to stay at the airport or go out to visit Lima on your own before boarding to your country of origin.
End of services.

Recommendations and suggestions for flights

International Flights

Arrival in Peru (Day 1): We recommend arriving in Lima before 1:00 p.m., as a city tour of Lima is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on the same day.
Return to your country (Day 9): For your international return flight, we recommend choosing an afternoon or evening departure from Lima, which will allow you to enjoy the morning in Cusco and make your connecting flight from Cusco to Lima without any setbacks.

Domestic Flights

Lima – Cusco (Day 2): We recommend taking a morning flight so that you arrive in Cusco before noon. This is important, as the city tour in Cusco begins at 1:00 p.m.
Juliaca – Lima (Day 9): This flight can be scheduled according to your international flight schedule. Ideally, it should be after noon to avoid tight connections.
