We start the day early in the morning, picking you up at your hotel in Cusco. A private transportation will take you to the train station in Ollantaytambo in a journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, where you will enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Sacred Valley. - Train ride to Aguas Calientes
You will board a scenic train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. During this trip of almost 2 hours, you will appreciate the change of landscapes, from the Andes to the lush high jungle, following the course of the Urubamba River. - Ascent by bus to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting for you to accompany you to the bus terminal. A 25 minute ride will take you through a road surrounded by mountains to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. - Guided tour in Machu Picchu
You will have a 2 and a half hour tour of the citadel, exploring its most iconic places such as the Temple of the Sun, the Intiwatana, the Sacred Rock and the Temple of the Condor. You will also have the opportunity to capture the classic photo from the best viewpoints. - Return to Aguas Calientes and free time
After the guided tour, you will descend by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes. There you will have free time for lunch, stroll through the streets and relax before continuing your return trip. - Return to Cusco
